Vegetarian Dumplings

Delicious vegetarian dumplings stuffed with a mix of mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, and seasonings that make them savory. These dumplings are great for vegetarians and people who love dumplings because they are both healthy and tasty.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 30 round dumpling wrappers

Instructions:

Put chopped mushrooms, grated carrot, chopped cabbage, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

Combine well

Put a spoonful of the vegetable mix in the middle of a dumpling wrapper first

Spray water along the edges of the wrapper, fold it in half, and press to seal

This will make a half-moon shape

Do it again with the rest of the wrappers and vegetable mix

Set a big pan on medium heat and add some oil to it

Make sure there is only one layer of dumplings in the pan and that they don't touch

If you want the bottoms to be golden brown, cook for two to three minutes

Put a lid on top of the pan and add 1/4 cup of water

For about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft and the wrappers are clear, steam the dumplings

Take it off the heat and serve it hot with any hot sauce you like
