These Smoky BBQ Pulled Pork Burgers are a tasty treat. They have toasted hamburger buns with soft pulled pork smothered in tangy BBQ sauce. They are then topped with creamy coleslaw, smoked gouda cheese, and caramelized onions.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pulled pork
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup coleslaw
- 4 slices smoked gouda cheese
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set a pan on medium heat and add the olive oil
It will take about 8 to 10 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced onions until the onions turn caramelized
Add pepper and salt
Put pulled pork and BBQ sauce in a different saucepan and heat them up until they are warm
You can grill or toast the hamburger buns for a short time
Place a slice of smoked gouda cheese, caramelized onions, and a dollop of coleslaw on the bottom bun of each burger
Then add the pulled pork
Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away
